US singer/songwriter and musician St Vincent has been announced as Record Store Day's tenth anniversary ambassador, following in the footsteps of Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, Dave Grohl and Metallica in supporting the culture of the independently owned record store.

The Teenage Talk hitmaker commented 'It is with deep honour and humility that I accept this ambassadorship. Rest assured I do not take my duties lightly'.
